This platform will allow Rwandan goods to be sold through Alibaba’s e-commerce platform to over 500 million consumers, expanding trade and encouraging SME growth. Alibaba will also ensure that Rwandan goods meet international standards. Additionally, Rwanda will use Alibaba’s online travel platform, “Flying Pig Travel,” to promote tourism to Chinese customers. The agreement is expected to help Rwanda improve operations, attract investors, and boost the country’s economy.
